About Dr. Roxana Lambdin

Dr. Lambdin brings well rounded and faith-filled expertise, gained while working in a wide array of settings and treating a diverse population of children, young adults, adults, and geriatric populations. She brings over 28 years of experience she has garnered while working in the following settings, as well as years spent working in private practice.

Training

Dr. Lambdin earned her undergraduate psychology degree from UCLA and was privileged to have participated as an undergraduate in the 1987 landmark Autism study investigating the effectiveness of The Lovaas Method of ABA treatment, headed by Dr. Ivar Lovaas. She went on to complete her Masters and Doctoral degrees at the Los Angeles campus of The California School of Professional Psychology. Her practicum took training took place in a community mental health in a Day Treatment Unit. Her predoctoral training was completed at Loyola Marymount University's Counseling Center and at a Non-public school for children with emotional and learning challenges, including ADHD and Autism. Her postdoctoral training took place at the Loyola Marymount University Counseling Center. She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).

This unique combination of experience gained while working in different settings has afforded Dr. Roxana Lambdin insight into developing tools that will help practitioners, other professionals and patients to work more efficiently at achieving their goal.
